Migrant Workers and Youth: The Real Game Changers

Prashant Kishor, the leader of the Jan Suraj Party, asserted on Saturday that in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, it is the migrant workers and the youth who will serve as the true 'X factor', rather than women.

Speaking to reporters in Supaul, the former election strategist emphasized that both migrant workers and young voters are determined to cast their ballots for change.

Kishor noted, 'A significant number of migrant workers are returning home with their families to vote. Previously, they had no alternatives and thus voted for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), but this time they are leaning towards the Jan Suraj Party.'

Targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Kishor remarked, 'In the past, the Prime Minister secured votes from migrant workers and the general populace by instilling fear of the RJD's 'jungle raj', but now he seems disconnected from the ground realities. Those who were worried about the return of 'jungle raj' in Bihar are now viewing Jan Suraj as a viable option.'

He dismissed the Congress party's allegations of 'vote theft', stating that this issue is irrelevant to the public. Kishor added, 'Ask anyone, in the first phase of voting, no one had their name removed from the voter list on any of the contested seats.'
